On July 11, 2025, the State Council for Professors issued Decision No. 26/QD-HDGSNN, approving the list of scientific journals for scoring in 2025. Accordingly, the Asian Journal of Economics and Banking (Vietnamese version) and the Asian Journal of Economics and Banking (English version) – two scientific journals managed by the University of Banking Ho Chi Minh City (HUB) – have been included in the list of scientific journals eligible for scoring research works within the range of 0–1.0 points, with 1.0 being the highest score according to the Council's classification.

Statistical data from this list reveals that HUB is one of only seven universities nationwide to simultaneously own two journals – both Vietnamese and English versions – that have achieved the maximum score. This not only signifies recognition of the professional quality and rigorous editorial-review processes but also demonstrates the University's efforts to elevate its academic standing and expand the influence of its scientific research regionally and internationally.
