On the morning of March 19, 2025, the Information – Library Center organized a training session on how to use the library’s information services for readers. Through this session, students were introduced to effective methods of accessing and utilizing library resources, thereby developing self-learning and research skills, as well as improving their information search and retrieval abilities.

Key contents introduced and demonstrated by staff of the Information – Library Center included:
• General Introduction to the Library: Readers were introduced to various resource types, electronic databases, and the library’s information services.
• How to Use the Library Portal (Website): Readers were guided through the login process and shown how to use features on the library portal, such as searching the catalog, placing holds, renewing borrowed materials, and accessing digital documents.
• Techniques for Searching and Accessing Information: Readers learned how to use search tools such as OPAC to retrieve and utilize information effectively.
• Using Library Equipment and Services: Readers received instructions on how to use the library’s facilities and services to support their learning and research activities.
The first session attracted the interest and active participation of nearly 20 readers. The Information – Library Center will continue to organize upcoming sessions to support users in making the most of the library’s resources and services.
