Guide to Using the LibHUB App

1. Introduction

The HUB Library app, LibHUB, is designed for students, officers, lecturers, and staff of Ho Chi Minh University of Banking.

• View information about the Library, its facilities, service collections, opening hours, and contact details.
• Search for materials available in the Library, including book titles, authors, year of publication, ISBN, accession numbers, and other bibliographic information...
• View lists of materials by academic discipline, course, subject, and author.
• View lists of theses and dissertations available in the Library.
• View lists of newspapers and journals.
• View personal notifications, account information, renewals, and library card activation.
• Place holds on library materials.
• Access the Library’s digital resources.
• View borrowing and return history for both print and digital materials.

2. App Installation

Users can install the LibHUB app using one of the following methods:

1. Access the link: Tải ứng dụng LibHUB
2. Scan the QR code to download the app on a personal device.
3. Go to the App Store for iOS devices or Play Store for Android devices, search for the keyword “HUB Library”, and install the app.

3. Login

To log in to the app, tap the “Login” button on the Home tab, then enter your account information.

For students

• Username: Student ID
• Password: Student ID

For officers, lecturers, and staff

• Username: Staff/Lecturer/Employee ID in uppercase letters
• Password: Staff/Lecturer/Employee ID in uppercase letters

4. Searching for Materials

General Search

On the Function tab, users can select the appropriate functions to search for library materials.

Viewing Material Information

After finding the desired material, tap the title to open the detailed information page.

5. Reading Materials

• Access the Materials tab to read downloaded books.
• To delete a book, swipe left and select Delete.

6. Account

The Account tab includes functions that help users manage and interact with their library account.

• Material Holds: View the list of materials for which hold requests have been submitted to the Library.
• Download History: View the list of digital materials previously downloaded.
• Borrowing and Return History: View the list of print materials previously borrowed and returned.
• Account: View personal account information.
• Change Password: Change the account password.
