As part of the Freshman Citizenship and Student Orientation Week for the 2026–2027 academic year at Ho Chi Minh University of Banking, The Information - Library Center participated in providing library orientation for freshmen.

During the program, Mr. Ho Le Anh Tuan – Specialist of the Information - Library Center introduced and guided freshmen through practical information to help them quickly become familiar with the regulations, information resources, products, services, and learning spaces available at HUB Library.
The main contents of the orientation included:
- Regulations on the use of spaces at the Information - Library Center;
- Regulations on the use of products and services provided by the Information Center – Library;
- Guidance on searching for and accessing materials for learning and research.
In addition to introducing the basic information, the program also provided time for discussion and direct responses to students’ questions regarding library regulations, methods of searching for materials, use of library services, and access to the facilities and utilities currently available at the Center.

Through the orientation activity, freshmen were provided with the necessary information to proactively access and effectively use the learning resources, products, services, and learning spaces of HUB Library throughout their study and research at the University. The activity also contributes to helping students develop the habit of using library resources from the very beginning of their university studies, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of their learning, research, and overall university experience.
