On the morning of August 14, 2025, the Information – Library Center of Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking held a working session with representatives from Statista & iGroup Vietnam.

Representing Statista & iGroup Vietnam were Ms. Brenda Lim – Regional Sales Director, Asia-Pacific; Ms. Stephani Susilo – Business Development Manager for Academic and Public Sector (Indonesia & Vietnam); and Mr. Tri Nguyen – Country Manager, iGroup Vietnam.

On behalf of the Information – Library Center, the University’s welcoming delegation included Mr. Tran Vinh Nguyen – Director of the Information – Library Center; Mr. Le Van Toan – Deputy Director; and Ms. Tran Thi Loc – Library Officer.

During the meeting, representatives from Statista introduced the Statista online database – one of the world’s leading platforms for statistics and market research. This database offers a diverse, reliable, and highly visual source of information, effectively supporting the University’s teaching, scientific research, and learning activities.

The meeting opened up many opportunities for collaboration, enabling the Information – Library Center to access an additional international academic data channel, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of services for students, lecturers, and researchers.
