DIGITIZATION TRAINING AT THE LIBRARY OF HO CHI MINH UNIVERSITY OF BANKING

In line with the implementation plan to enhance the digitization process at the Library of Ho Chi Minh University of Banking (HUB), a training session was organized to improve work efficiency and provide better service to library users.

On September 11, 2020, the Library conducted a digitization training for all its staff members. Mr. Ho Le Anh Tuan, with over 11 years of experience in digitization at the Library, was appointed by the Library Board of Directors to lead the training and provide hands-on guidance.

The training session equipped library staff with a clear understanding of key procedures involved in the digitization of materials, storage processes, and methods for information retrieval — all aimed at enhancing the quality of learning and research support for users.

The training was divided into two main parts:

Part 1: Theoretical session – Introduction to the digitization workflow and software tools supporting the digitization process.
