ANNOUNCEMENT
About extending the service for readers outside university

        Has been established for 35 years (since 16th December, 1976), Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City assumes mission of undergraduate and graduate education, scientific reseach in a lot of areas, such as Finance - Banking, Accounting - Auditing, Business administration, Marketing, Information technology, Foreign language... This supports in providing human resource for economics. The library of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City constantly adds new books and materials as requirement of Officials - Lecturers - Staff and Students. Besides, it also constantly updates and keeps as archives of specialized journals, theses, dissertations, graduation theses which relate to above training areas.

        At present, the library is owning more than 60,000 books with diffenrent types, more than 2,000 theses, dissertations and 1,791 multimedia titles.

        For the specialized foreign books, there are more than 2,361 titles, more than 2,861 copies. This rises the total number of titles to 9,130.

        Besides, the library also owns more than 100 computers helping students in studying and accessing Internet. In addtion, there are some kinds of book about living skills, literature, poem. They supports readers in relaxing , enhancing knowledge...

        According to requirement and aspiration of readers outside university who have own individual need, as well as those students attending above specialized major, the Library is so pleased to announce the extension the services for readers outside university as follows:

        1/ Officials – Lecturers – Staff – Students who are working and studying at state agencies, social organizations, businesses, and Universities - Colleges.

        2/ The fee for registering for a library card is 200,000 VND per card per year (when registering for a card, readers provide Student card, or Identification card, or official – staff card, if any)
